Director Gille Klabin takes us on a journey through time, space, and mind, in his genre-bending debut feature film “The Wave”. Gille and VFX Supervisor Patrick Lawler decided early on that the visual effects should feel very close to real visuals of psychedelics, while also mirroring the emotional state of their protagonist. The film more than delivers with slick shots and trippy transitions, all of which took a lot of rigorous planning and ingenuity from their cinematographer, Aaron Grasso . “The Wave” is available to stream now. You are guaranteed to laugh, cry, and freak the f*&k out.
