Glenn Thomas is an illustrator and sometimes-animator residing in Melbourne, Australia. For "Meet Chris" he collaborated with Remade from Philadelphia to handle character design and design frames for the Tennessee Highway Safety Office's "Booze it or Lose it" campaign. "It was a fantastic project to be a part of, " says Glenn. "Remade had already laid out some great storyboards and also gave me a lot of freedom for the style."
The job came around at a pivotal time in Glenn's life: "I was moving from our small apartment into our first house with my very pregnant wife and our house needed a lot work," Glenn remembers. "I would jump between working on frames on the fireplace mantle to painting and ripping out old carpet. It remains one of my most pleasing jobs to have worked on."
"Meet Chris" is pleasing to watch as well. It's colorful, fun, stylized, and manages to send a strong message without being preachy. All eyes may be on "Chris" in this spot, but we are beyond excited to keep our eyes on Glenn to see what other creative projects he has in store.
