Jurassic Park is one of the most profitable franchises on the planet. As most of us will remember, the original "Jurassic Park" trilogy centers on a dangerous theme park full of cloned dinosaurs. In 2015, a fresh saga began with "Jurassic World," and continued with 2018's "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom". "Jurassic World Dominion" is coming to theaters in June 2022 (we can't wait).
As a whole, the "Jurassic Park" franchise has raked in more than $5 billion. Each film holds a special place in the hearts of diehard fans, and has brought a passion and creativity to the toy, game, and designer community. "Jurassic World Alive" is one example of this, a game that allows players to explore your surrounding area to find your favorite Jurassic World dinosaurs.
The commercial, shot by Derek Bauer, illustrates and heightens that idea by showing very realistic dinosaurs roaming city streets and staring down shoppers. The VFX in the spot are breathtaking... and there's good reason for it: "The most exciting aspect of making this spot was being able to collaborate with actual VFX team from the film," says Derek. "Using overlays, 3D models and Motion control we were able to execute our shots with precision."
The end result is a terrifying or adorable (that will depend on your stance on dinosaurs), incredibly executed spot, with jaw-dropping visuals.
